I joined Close To My Heart 6 years ago because I was frustrated with the level of service I had received from local scrapbook stores. I was also tired of going from store to store to find color coordinating embellishments. In the past six years my family has increased in size, and with four children it’s hard to go shopping for myself. I knew there had to be a company that could help make my passion and love for scrapbooking faster, simpler and easier. That company is Close To My Heart!
I had been a great customer of Close To My Heart's and decided to look into the opportunity of being a consultant. It was easier than I thought! I started out being a hobbyist and getting my personal scrapbooking and stamping products at a discount. When I would go to my local scrapbook store to crop, people would ask where I got my beautiful kits and color coordinating embellishments. Well, one thing lead to another and this “hobby” has now turned into a profitable business.
I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams. Because of Close To My Heart, I have met so many wonderful people that have blessed me with their friendship. I have been recognized for my art work, personal sales and recruiting efforts. I have now earned four consecutive Close To My Heart Cruises including, the most recent, 2010 Western Carribean Cruise. I've had my artwork published in the 2007 Summer Idea Book, I've presented at our national Convention, I have two published classes in our Training Acedemy, and I will be featured on PBS's scrapbooking TV show, Scrapbook Memories, in the spring of 2009. Plus, MY story will be featured in the Your Opportunity section of all MyCTMH websites!
